ABOUT // Ferrah is a New Orleans-based womenswear brand designed by Lela Orr. After initial schooling in Legal Studies, Lela completed her undergraduate study in Business and International Development from Tulane University. Lela then continued postgraduate education at Parsons School of Design, also earning a degree in Fashion Design. After years working for several New York-based designers, Lela returned to the south and founded Ferrah to create high-end womenswear with a reduced carbon footprint. Soon after, Lela’s design work first gained national recognition after competing on Project Runway.

Initially limited to capsule collections, Ferrah now produces biannual collections focusing on bridal and statement pieces or special occasion-wear.
