FERRAH garments are made to order, ensuring materials are used only as needed and never in excess. Within our studio, fabric is treated as a finite resource, with offcuts carefully collected, sorted, and reintroduced into future work whenever possible. When reuse is not feasible, materials are redirected through donation or responsible recycling. We incorporate zero waste patterning techniques where possible, allowing pattern pieces to interlock efficiently so that fabric is fully utilized.

FERRAH works primarily with natural, high quality textiles, with a focus on silk and other fine fibers chosen for their longevity, hand, and ability to age beautifully over time. We prioritize materials that can return to the earth at the end of their lifecycle and avoid synthetics wherever possible. Muslin and select support materials may be used in development, but our finished garments are rooted in natural fibers. We are a cruelty free brand and do not use fur or animal skins.
