The one-year anniversary gift is paper, symbolizing a new start, or a blank page to document your love, your life, and the beginning of your journey together. Paper reflects the delicate nature of relationships, yet it can be strong when bonded and bound together. As one year becomes several, then many, your story evolves; pages become chapters, and chapters become a full novel.
For Spring 2027, we set out to create a collection that celebrates the passage of time. With time comes knowledge, experience, and testimony. Inspired by the traditional first-anniversary gift, paper, we explored themes of beginnings, fragility, and the beauty of what is carefully built and preserved. From our proprietary plaster and latex finishes, painted onto gowns and jackets to evoke a sense of binding and adhesion, to the woven double-face duchess silk satin ribbons that run throughout the collection, each element reflects both celebration and connection.
