Strapless duchess satin corseted gown made up of long raw edge ribbon strips that cascade into a bubbled hem. Each ribbon is carefully draped and sewn on to a corseted bodice then released on to a full silk taffeta ballgown skirt. Steel boned bustier with internal grosgrain waist-belt, built-in hip pads, and a lace up back closure.

The goddess of comedy, festivity, and pastoral poetry is named Thalia - a name that also means “to bloom.” With a bodice made of ribbons, we think the name suits this piece perfectly - a blooming celebration and a dress that depicts poetry in motion.

    Cut: Thalia is designed to touch the floor at center front and trail several inches behind at center back for a classic sweep-length train. Length can be shortened to floor-length or extended for a chapel-length train.
